I decided to turn everything around, when life broke me into pieces. I changed the way I used to think, walk, talk and speak. I trained my brain to work and process feelings and emotions.

Anxiety and depression are words that are easy to express verbally, but difficult to survive. It eats you, kills you and as you know it and decide for yourself, you gain the power to turn it all, you gain yourself and the universe starts working only and only in your favour. Why? Just because you decide to speak for yourself, you decide to walk on the path made for you, you decide to talk about what’s necessary. And that’s where you find yourself.

No! Don’t leave that space ever again for anyone.

No one in the world deserves to play with your feelings, or put you down even for a fraction of a second.

As a premature child, I’ve been dealing with hormonal issues my entire life. Leading to imbalances, weight gain, bad skin and work. In spite of being called names or trolled there was always a quiet confidence that held me together.

Becoming a choreographer was a dream since I was 12 years old and can proudly say that I am living it for the past 18 years as a part of the Indian Film Industry. All throughout my professional years my weight and appearance have been at the receiving end of all the critique one can find with a shallow mindset. Battling that along with proving my talent side by side is the summary of my career so far.

Aishwarya Dua met me last year to promote her brand, recently launched Sassiest, and I was more than happy to help have my own experiences with relationships and sex. The initiative was the help I need to save my marriage but didn’t get it in time. Hence I decided to back her with whatever minuscule fame I have. Only to realise that my purpose was to join hands and not be a bystander. It would make much more of an impact if I could get on the bandwagon and become a part of the much-needed help that Women and the LGBTQIA’s of the country need. Hence began my entrepreneurial journey with Sassiest.

Sassiest aims to work with all the ones reaching out not only to deal with their traumas and sexual issues but also to educate one family at a time. I’m more than happy to be part of this much-needed revolutionary work for the Country and we as team Sassiest are unstoppable in bringing about this change.

I was always an overweight kid all through my childhood with my share of being bullied in school; I grew up to be an obese adult with multiple hormonal issues like PCOS and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (an auto-immune disorder of the thyroid gland). Dealing with issues of low confidence, body image issues due to obesity, severe hair loss, and traumatic experiences in my journey of discovering and accepting that I am Queer while completing my education in the competitive medical field led to increased stress and anxiety and was clinically depressed for the major part of my adult life. Fortunately for me having parents and a sister who are doctors themselves and a very understanding younger brother; I had the help and support I needed to overcome my health issues.

In my 6+ years of experience as an MBBS general practitioner and sexologist, I came across multiple people facing difficulties in understanding and dealing with various problems related to their sexual health including Gender identity and sexual orientation. The taboo, lack of awareness and knowledge about sexual health and pleasure and a safe space where they could discuss these issues without fear of judgement and find the right solutions became very apparent and are the need of the hour towards a progressive, modern India.

This was the major motivation for me to be a part of the founding team for Sassiest where our mission is to give a one-stop solution for sexual, mental and physical health through non-judgemental and intimacy-positive and queer-inclusive consultations by qualified doctors and provide doctor-backed products for sexual pleasure and intimate hygiene.
